A blog about Warhammer 40K, and my favorite defenders of the Imperium the Imperial Guard. From tactics to painting, to just plain fluff. This is my take on the wonderful hobby that is 40K.

Podcast update
Just a quick little update to keep everyone informed. Episode 4 of segmentum command has been recorded. Sorry for the delay, life has gotten in the way. We have it in the can and should have it out by this time next week, hopefully earlier but no promises. Obvious subject is 7th edition.
Also a new site will be going up for the podcast itself, it will be a place for all of us on the podcast to post and will be a collaboration. Our individual sites will remain and still be primary, but having a consolidated site will be easier for us to put content out. Expect to see that go up by the time episode 4 comes around.
Other than that, I am waiting in excitement to get my copy of 40k here in a few hours.
GG
The new site is currently underway. I have been working on it for the past few days and we are going to try for a release by Tuesday, but no promises.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I really enjoyed listening to episode 4 while I painted my army. I totally agree with you that yes this great hobby of ours is a little pricey but you really had to have known that before you entered this hobby. If some of the models are to expensive for your budget look into 3rd party models and miniatures to help stretch your dollars. If would like to say that I believe that some of todays 40k players are spoiled. When I started playing 40k back in the early 90's we didn't have all these multi piece plastic models and every unit wasn't represented with models. I have to shake my head when I hear people moan about how a model looks or some other minor complaint. For me this hobby of ours has come so far and to this day this game in all its many editions still brings me a lot of joy. Thank you for listening to what I had to say and just enjoy the game.
